The Queen Bee Fairy Tale Puppets

This puppet set includes three brothers, three princesses, a wise old gnome man, two ducks(one shown), honey bees, and felted ants.  The character puppets are about 12" - 14" inches tall, the ducks are 2" x 4", bees and ants are about 1/2" - 1" each.  The puppets are made from silks and printed cloths, velour, cotton, and weighted with wool and marbles.  They may come with embroidered eyes and lips, please specify in comments when ordering.  These puppets are very versatile and may also be used with other stories such as Rose Red and Snow White (see below).  The puppets are also available as standing puppets for table puppet plays.  Please email if you have any questions.

Mashenka and the Bear Puppets

The story of Mashenka and the Bear comes to life through the magic of the puppet story. This story can be found in Bronja Zablingen's book at the WECAN Website.

The puppets include Grandfather, Grandmother, Mashenka, and the Bear. The puppets are approximately 9 - 10 inches tall and are dressed in plant-dyed cotton velour, stuffed with wool.  They may be ordered as a set of four table puppets (as shown) or four hand puppets.

Snow White and Rose Red Puppet Play Characters

The characters in the Brothers Grimm story are available for your puppet play, either singly or as a set.  Red Rose, Snow White, Mother, Dwarf, Eagle, Bear, Lamb and two Princes (only one is shown), are available either as marionettes, table puppets, or a mixture of both.  The puppets are made from silks, wool, linen.  The marionettes are weighted for flowing movement and the table puppets will stand on their own.  Please email if you have any questions.

Grandmother Greenleaf Rod Puppet

Grandmother Greenleaf is a 20 inch rod puppet made from velour, silk, cotton, and wool.  She can easily be brought to life through movement, gesture and storytelling. This puppet is for an adult to use to tell stories, introduce another type of puppet play, or bring about a change of events in the circle time.  She is dressed in velour, with a hand-printed silk tunic, made using rice paste resist.  She is easily manipulated by letting the wooden head rod fall between two fingers (index and middle) and rest on the knuckles.  With the same hand, insert your thumb in her elastic loop, which is in her hand. With your other hand, manipulate the hand rod.  It takes two hands to get the head and hand movement going, but it's satisfying to witness such a range of movement.
