Seasonal Cloth Set

The uniqueness of each of the four seasons is shown in these standing wool dolls, suggested for a nature table display.  Colors may vary slightly with dye baths.  Please keep away from curious pets.  Each doll is approximately 7 inches tall.

The Seasonal Dolls are available as a set or may be purchased individually.  Scroll down to order individual dolls.

The Seasonal Doll Set includes four  complimentary seasonal cloths (about 18 x 18 inches) for draping  - see photo at left.

After the autumn leaves fall, the tree limbs stand bare until spring arrives.  Grey Winter depicts the winter image of windy and rainy days, he has a picture of a winter-bare tree on his dress and holds a brown limb.  He wears a nice warm hood for the cold of winter that can be pulled back as spring warms up the earth.  Grey Winter can be transformed as spring arrives by replacing his branch with a budding pussy willow and adding tiny green leaves to his tree image.  Approximately 7 inches tall.

King Winter is dressed in blues and lavenders - wool that shimmers like ice and snow.  He carries a staff and a snowball, and wears a jeweled crown.

Spring Maiden is a redhead who is dressed in a pure green gown decorated with lively-colored spring flowers.  She carries a seed bundle and a bluebird perches on her fingertips.

Summer Girl is dressed in glistening yellows, golds and a pastel rainbow palette of summer flowers.  She carries a basket of berries in one arm and watches as an orange butterfly alights on the other.

Autumn Gatherer is bundled in rich earthy-colored plant-dyed wool.  She has an old-world look.  Autumn holds an acorn and bundle of twigs.

Seasonal Earth Mother

The Seasonal Earth Mother is dressed in green wool and plant-dyed silks decorated with Indian hemp and woodland twigs, lichen, and cones.   She is draped with a felted wool cape and carries a broom for sweeping away the winter weather.  Her face and hands are made of cotton.

The Seasonal Earth Mother is a companion to the Seasonal Doll Set and is approximately 9 inches tall.
