Wildflower Marionette/Mobile

The movement and warm colors of plants is expressed in the silk gown that the wildflower marionette wears. Her silks are hand-dyed with plant fibers, colored with pigments, and a rice paste resist defines the design through use of the Japanese katazome technique.  May be used as a marionette or as a mobile to hang above the nature table.

Wildflower Fairy Mobile

These lovely 4" fairies are dressed in hand printed silk clothing which has been colored with natural dye and earth pigments. They have flexible arms, wooden heads, milkweed fiber hair, and cone, seed, or flower hats. They hang from a 16" pounded copper rod.

Modern Dancers Mobile

Four elf-like dancers, a couple with chenille hoops, wearing colorful silks, beads, and gold stars, dangle from a transparent bouncy cord which is attached to a 6" pounded copper ring.  The dancers are made from various silks ,cottons, and wool and have wooden bead heads.

Harvest Fairy Mobile

Water grasses are braided into a ring which the four colorful plant fairies hang from.  The fairy mobile is rich in earthy hues of plant dyed silks and wool felt.  Each fairy gets special adornment with the lovely gifts of the season's harvest.

Fairy Rider

A wee fairy flies through the air on a silky blue bird.  The flexible winged fairy carries a gathering basket on one arm and holds the reins of the 7 inch bird in the other.  Delicately dressed in wisps of wool, the 3 inch fairy wears jewels from head to pointy toe.  The rider can hang as a mobile, be part of a nature table display or fly through a puppet story.  Fill the basket with the changing seasons's offerings.
