Woman Marionette

The Forest Wife Marionette Puppet is approximately 12 inches tall.  She is dressed in silks dyed and printed with natural dyes and pigments.  The Forest Wife is an example of the many characters available in puppetry.  Upon request, many other puppet characters can be created especially for you.

Hand-Felted Animal Puppet

The warm puppet is felted into an animal form which fits both adult and children's hands.  Hand puppets are a wonderful tool for engaging children without direct adult to child interaction.  Puppetry is a magical tool which fosters the healing art of communication without intellectual exchange.  The coyote is approximately 11 inches from tail to ear and about 6 inches wide.

Princess & Prince Marionettes

Elemental Marionette

A lively simple 2 string marionette that can be brought to life through a child's hands.  Silks, dyed and hand printed with rice paste resist, give this puppet a colorful outfit to skip and dance in.  He wears a plush velour cap topped with a feather.

Wildflower Marionette/Mobile

The movements and warm colors of plants are expressed in the silk gown that the wildflower marionette wears. These silks are hand-dyed with plant fibers and colored with pigments.  A rice paste resist defines the design, using the Japanese katazome technique.  May be used as a marionette or as a mobile to hang above your nature table.
