All of the dolls offered by Natural World Arts are designed and made by hand in my workshop located among the forested hills of the Okanogan Highlands, in the north central part of Washington State.  Natural materials such as wool, silk, linen, cotton, and herbs;  together with plant dyes and pigments,  line the workshop shelves.  I also print cloth using a Japanese rice paste resist technique called Katazome.

My inspiration is drawn from the natural world, of which I am a life time student.  From that inspiration I create Waldorf-inspired dolls and puppets for children's play and  nature table displays, and unique herb dolls, which are suitable as gifts for adults.

My husband and I and our children have a small farm where we tend to chickens, milk goats and a few sheep.  I have completed Waldorf teacher education.  My focus is in environmental and art education.  I welcome inquiries about environmental education.  I am researching many books and curriculums.
